Since 2001, I’ve been helping people buy and sell homes across Albuquerque and beyond, guiding clients with calm, confidence, and care through every kind of market. My approach is simple: listen first, work with heart, and always put people before transactions.
That philosophy has built a business based almost entirely on referrals and earned recognition as a Top Producing Realtor by the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors. I’m also honored to serve as the 2026 President for the Higher Standard Qualifying Brokers Association (HSQBA.org), where I’m passionate about raising the bar for our profession.
Before real estate, I worked in human resources for nonprofits and government contractors, where I learned the value of connection, compassion, and helping people find their place in the world; something that still drives me today.
When I’m not helping clients, you’ll find me outdoors with my husband, Jack, or volunteering with our golden retriever, Chief, as a pet therapy team. Our visits remind me of the simple power of kindness and connection, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to share that time with them. I am also a proud foodie and local dining enthusiast. For me, a perfect evening is simple: great wine, a delicious meal, and a table full of laughter with family and friends.
For me, real estate and life both come down to one thing: helping people feel at home.
After more than 34 years of owning, buying, and selling homes for myself and my family, I am turning my personal passion for real estate into my second career, and I am bringing a wealth of experience, heart, and hustle to the table.
I am retired from a successful and impactful career at Sandia National Laboratories, where I have been known for my commitment to excellence, my outstanding collaboration with colleagues, and my dedication to the mission of the Labs. I am a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified and was honored to be recognized as a Distinguished contributor in my field.
Now, I am excited to take my sharp organizational abilities, top-notch computer savvy, and truly exceptional people skills and apply them to helping others navigate the real estate world. I am no stranger to the process, having been hands-on in numerous transactions over the years for myself, my children, and others in my inner circle. Real estate has long been a personal interest, and now it’s officially my next chapter in life’s journey.
Licensed since 2008, I have kept up with continuing education and am jumping into the field with enthusiasm, dedication, and the support of experienced mentors. I am ready to help clients feel informed, confident, and cared for, whether they’re buying their first home or making a big move.
When I am not studying the market or helping others reach their goals, I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering in the community, and continuing to learn every day. On my best days, I will be in my garden, soaking up the sun with my hands in the dirt.
It was in 2020 that I began my journey in real estate, a path that led me to obtain my associate broker license just a year later, in 2021. I truly enjoy my role as a transactional coordinator, where I help ensure the smoothest possible process during the contract phase for all parties involved. When I’m not immersed in real estate, my husband and three wonderful daughters are my priority. Two of them reside in New York City, and I cherish every moment I get to spend visiting them there. My youngest daughter keeps me busy volunteering at her high school. I also dedicate time to my ongoing work as an adjunct faculty member for a college in Texas, a role I’ve held since 2009.
I am the editor and marketing coordinator for Red Apple Realty and I love getting into the nitty gritty of videography and performance metrics. With a decade of experience in small-scale video production and editing, I bring a blend of tech-savvy innovation and artsy flair to content creation.
My top value is learning. I love reading, listening to music, playing and watching sports, making road trips with my wife and spending time with family and friends. I am also classically trained on the violin and recently picked up the mandolin and bass guitar. I am a career sales, marketing and business development professional with over 40 years experience. I am a husband and a father of 4 grown children with a feisty chihuahua/rat terrier mix dog named Sharky.
My specialty is keeping things calm and making sure people feel at ease. I’m pretty good at reading the room and knowing what someone needs, whether it’s quiet reassurance or just a moment of peace. I’ll gladly accept a few pets, but I usually slip away before you get tired of scratching my ears — I like to leave on a high note. You may not always notice me around the office, but don’t worry, I’ve always got your back.
Fun Fact: I’m the quietest one on the team, but probably the most observant.
My job is to make sure nobody comes through the door without a warm welcome. I’m usually the first to greet you, and yes, I’ll probably have a ball ready in case you’d like to play. I’m big on love and attention, so don’t be surprised if I nudge your hand away from your desk just to remind you to give me a pat. I like to keep the office full of energy, laughter, and plenty of snorts. And if you’re looking for me, chances are I’m right by Mella’s side. In my free time, I volunteer at a local senior living facility as an emotional support dog.
Fun Fact: I believe there’s no such thing as too much attention.
Together, we make up the Canine Relations Division at Red Apple Realty. Our mission is simple: keep spirits high, clients comfortable, and the office filled with loyalty, love, and (of course) a tennis ball or two. I bring the calm (that’s me, Ozzie) and I bring the joy and energy (that’s me, Chief). Between the two of us, we make sure Red Apple Realty isn’t just about finding a house — it’s about feeling at home.
